Who we work with
Healthcare covers a lot of ground, and a 40 bed care home has almost nothing in common with a private hospital or a village health centre. Here's how we work with each.
Care homes and nursing homes
Laundry runs all day, every day, and a lot of it is residents' personal clothing that can't go missing or come back damaged. You need sluice and disinfection cycles for soiled linen, machines sized to your resident numbers rather than to a brochure, and a kitchen that puts out three meals a day without fuss. We spec, install and maintain the lot, and we keep the service records you need when the inspector arrives.
NHS trusts and community hospitals
Ward level laundries and community sites need equipment that meets healthcare disinfection standards and paperwork that stands up to scrutiny. We're Constructionline Gold accredited and our engineers are DBS checked, we log the work properly, and we can support multiple sites under one arrangement.
Private hospitals and clinics
Patients arriving at a private hospital expect a hotel standard, and that runs through to the linen finish and the food. We supply finishing equipment as well as washers and dryers, and kitchen equipment specified for the menu you actually serve rather than the space you happen to have.
Hospices
Smaller volumes, but nothing about it is casual. Machines need to be quiet, reliable, and gentle enough for personal items that matter enormously to families. We'll size the equipment to real demand and keep it running.
GP practices, dental practices and health centres
Low volume doesn't mean low stakes. Uniforms, scrubs and gowns still need proper washing and disinfection, usually from compact machines in a small room. We supply commercial equipment that fits the space and holds up to daily use, which domestic machines don't.
Veterinary practices and animal hospitals
A vet practice runs on the same principles as any other clinical setting. Gowns, scrubs, bedding and towels washing constantly, hygiene that has to hold up, and a small space to do it in. We fit commercial machines with proper disinfection cycles, sized for a practice rather than a hospital.
Supported living and sheltered housing
Shared laundry rooms get used by residents rather than staff, so machines need to be simple, tough and hard to misuse. We can set them up as free to use or on a coin or cashless system if you want to recover the running cost.
Multi site and group operators
If you run several homes or sites, the problem stops being the equipment and starts being the admin. Different suppliers at different sites, no clear picture of what's installed where, and a different answer every time you ask about a repair.

Infection control and compliance
Healthcare laundry has to do more than get things clean. Soiled and infected linen needs the right disinfection cycle, and you need to be able to show an inspector how it's achieved.
We supply machines with the disinfection and sluice programmes required for healthcare linen, and chemicals that let you disinfect at lower temperatures. That cuts your energy bill without cutting corners on hygiene.
Our engineers are DBS checked, fully qualified, and work to manufacturer guidelines on every visit. Service records come to you with the job report, so the paperwork is on file before anyone asks for it.
When something breaks
Care homes and hospitals can't wait until Tuesday.
Our emergency line runs 24/7. You report the fault, we log it and prioritise an engineer. Our vans carry stock for the brands we look after, and we can hold bespoke van stock for customers with a lot of equipment on site, so more jobs get fixed on the first visit.
We're on the road across Lancashire, Yorkshire, the Midlands and North Wales, with national coverage beyond that.
Maintenance plans
Most breakdowns give warning. Planned servicing catches them before they turn into a full day with no laundry.
We run three levels of cover, Silver, Gold and Platinum, for both laundry and catering equipment. Every plan includes scheduled visits from certified engineers and access to our customer platform, so you can see your equipment history and job status without picking up the phone.
Cutting your running costs
Equipment in healthcare runs harder and longer than almost anywhere else, so the running cost matters more than the sticker price.
We supply energy and water efficient machines, from heat pump dryers to low consumption dishwashers, with up to three years manufacturer warranty. Paired with low temperature detergents, most sites see the saving on the utility bill rather than just on paper.
Leasing and finance options are available if you'd rather spread the cost than buy outright.
The credentials behind the work
Gas Safe registered, and we issue CP42 gas safety certificates for catering and laundry equipment on an annual cycle. Constructionline Gold accredited. Qualified to 18th edition for electrical installation. Our engineers are DBS checked. We carry £10 million public liability and £5 million employers liability cover.

Can you look after the kitchen and the laundry under one contract?
Yes. That's what we're set up to do. One contract, one point of contact, and engineers trained on both.

How quickly can you get to us if a machine goes down?
Our emergency line is open 24 hours. We prioritise dispatch based on how critical the equipment is, and healthcare laundry and kitchens sit at the top of that list.

Do you service equipment you didn't supply?
Yes. We work across the major commercial laundry and catering brands, so you don't need to replace working equipment to move your servicing to us.

Can you cover several sites under one arrangement?
Yes. We work with groups and multi site operators, and you get one point of contact across the estate rather than a different arrangement at every site.

Can you help us work out what size machines we need?
Yes. We'll look at your resident or patient numbers, your space and your current wash loads, then spec accordingly. Oversized machines waste money every cycle.

Are your engineers DBS checked?
Yes. It comes up on almost every care and clinical site, so it's worth saying up front.

Do you cover veterinary practices?
Yes. The equipment and the hygiene requirement are much the same as a health centre, just at a different scale.

We only need one or two small machines. Is that too small a job?
No. Health centres and dental practices are a normal job for us. The important thing is fitting commercial equipment rather than domestic, because domestic machines won't last and won't disinfect properly.

Do you supply the detergents as well?
We do. Our chemicals are designed for low temperature washing and disinfection, which brings the energy cost down while still meeting the hygiene standard.

Can we spread the cost of new equipment?
Yes. We offer leasing and rental alongside outright purchase, so you can match the cost to your budget cycle.
