Launderettes and self service shops

Machines running all day, every day, operated by the public and treated accordingly. We supply equipment built for that life, in a mix of sizes so a duvet and a small service wash both have somewhere to go, and we look after it once it's in.

Dry cleaners

There's a lot more than the dry cleaning machine in a dry cleaning shop. Washers, dryers and finishing equipment do a big share of the work, and they're what tends to break. We supply and maintain the wetside and finishing kit that sits alongside your cleaning machine. We don't work on the dry cleaning machine itself, and we'd rather tell you that up front than take the call and let you down.

Service wash and laundry businesses

Taking in wash, dry and fold work changes what you need. Larger capacity, faster turnaround, and equipment that can handle a heavy day without falling behind. We'll spec for the volume you're actually doing and the volume you want to be doing.

Apartment blocks and build to rent

A communal laundry room is a selling point when it works and a complaint generator when it doesn't. We fit machines that stand up to shared use and a payment system residents can actually operate, then keep it maintained so the managing agent isn't fielding calls.

Student accommodation

High demand, hard use, and everything happening at once in freshers' week. Cashless systems suit students, who rarely carry coins, and give you proper visibility of usage and income. There's more on our schools and universities page.

Holiday parks and campsites

Sheltered housing and supported living

Communal laundry rooms used by residents rather than staff need to be simple, robust and hard to misuse. We can set them up free to use or on payment so the running cost is covered.

Coin, card or app

Coin still works, and for plenty of sites it's the right answer. But carrying change is now unusual, and a site that only takes coins is turning away customers who'd happily tap a card.

Cashless systems let people pay by card or phone, and they give you something coins never did: you can see what every machine is doing and what it's taking, without visiting the site or emptying a hopper. For anyone running more than one location that changes how the business is managed.

We'll talk you through both honestly, including when coin is still the sensible choice, and we can run a site on both together while customers get used to the change.

We'll spec a mix of sizes rather than a row of identical machines, because that's what actually maximises the takings from a given floor area.

Servicing and repairs

Our emergency line is answered 24/7, weekends included, which is when your site is busiest and most suppliers aren't picking up. We'll get an engineer to you as quickly as we can, and response times can be agreed as part of a maintenance contract.

Our vans carry stock for the brands we look after, so most faults are fixed on the first visit rather than after a parts order. We can hold bespoke van stock for customers with a lot of machines.

We're on the road across Lancashire, Yorkshire, the Midlands and North Wales, with national coverage beyond that.

Maintenance plans

Machines that are used constantly need servicing on a schedule, not when something goes wrong.

We run three levels of cover, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Every plan includes scheduled visits from certified engineers and access to our customer platform, so you can see the history and job status for every machine and every site in one place.

Utilities are your biggest cost

In a launderette, water, gas and electricity eat the margin. The difference between an efficient machine and an old one shows up every single cycle, hundreds of times a week.

We supply energy and water efficient equipment, including heat pump dryers, with up to three years manufacturer warranty. Paired with detergents formulated for low temperature washing, the saving lands on the bill rather than in a brochure.

The credentials behind the work

Gas Safe registered, and we issue CP42 gas safety certificates for catering and laundry equipment on an annual cycle. Constructionline Gold accredited. Qualified to 18th edition for electrical installation. Our engineers are DBS checked. We carry £10 million public liability and £5 million employers liability cover.
